Groups and activities

As well as worship we have various other opportunities to suit all ages to welcome you to –

Sunday Activities  for children

Children are welcome at ALL our worship services.

On Sundays at the 11am service, the children join us with all the church family in the church and can either stay with parents, choose to play and do activities in the kids corner [or sometimes a volunteer will arrange to go out to the hall to do their own activities and come into the church for the last part of the service]. We are currently reviewing our children’s work and due to covid19 we are not running creche or Sunday Club BUT we have covid safe activity bags available AND cleaned and safe toys in the kids corner.

Please bring them along and have peace of mind that if they don’t settle no one will mind at all.

Messy Church

We welcome all children from the community but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult because Messy Church is an intergenerational worship…where folks of different ages learn and share together through crafts, games, stories, songs and food shared together.

We enjoy crafts, songs, stories and a snack.  It takes place on a Saturday morning every month in the Lowson Sanctuary from 10.30 – 12 noon.  Look for the posters on the church notice board or contact Rev Karen for more information.

All of these clubs are run by responsible adults who have been through the safeguarding system of the Church of Scotland.

Teen Cafe

O
